Customer Reviews

Wouldn’t trust anyone to work on my car but these guys! Owners are extremely knowledgeable and professional and do outstanding work! I can’t say enough good things or give bigger compliments to the work they do. I have an AMG Mercedes and I have had these guys perform a few repairs and some other stuff for me. They were very timely and thorough and kept me updated throughout the process on everything being done. They should be your guys for anything you want done!

Customer Reviews

Autotechnic helped me out greatly with my ‘91 M5. They treated my car as if it was their own and made me aware of every item they were fixing/ replacing. Their service is a notch above other vintage bmw and Mercedes shops in the area. Statesville is extremely lucky to have this shop in town. I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Customer Reviews

So many of us in Iredell County have been looking for a place to take our older Mercedes and BMWs without having to deal with the Charlotte-metro dealerships. Patrick and John do a tremendous job with my ‘98 E320 and I’ll ONLY be taking my car to them in the future! Please pass them along to friends and family.

Customer Reviews

Great customer experience. Patrick was very communicative and flexible with scheduling. And my Mercedes battery service was a lot more involved than what I remember as a kid. This service provided was quick, easy, and priced fairly. Recommend highly!!!

Auto Maintenance FAQs

How often should I get my oil changed?
Answer: Every 5,000 miles with fully synthetic oil and 3,000 miles for older cars that use conventional oil

Manufacturers often sell their customers on the idea of extended service intervals, sometimes up to 15,000 miles on an oil change. Sure it sounds great but going that long between services can be harmful to the engine.

How do I know if my car needs new brakes?
Answer: When performing service to your car we check the condition of your brakes and report to you when your getting close or when need to replace them. Most German cars are also fitted with brake pad wear sensors and will turn on an indicator when it's time to replace them. Shaking and squeaking can also be a sign of brake system wear, if you experience either, you should schedule an appointment to have it checked out.
How do I know when my car needs new tires?
Answer: Tires have to be visually inspected and/or measured to determine if they need to be replaced. That's why it's important to have your car regularly serviced!
What do I do if my Check Engine or Service Engine Soon light comes on?
Answer: Schedule an appointment as soon as possible to have it diagnosed. It could be a simple fix or indicating a significant problem exist that could lead to major damage and repair cost if not addressed.
